Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c is the latest in Oracle’s management tool. This tool provides monitoring, management and performance tools that provide extensive insight into how your Oracle database is running and performing.  This presentation provides a brief overview of OEM Cloud Control 12c as well as a tutorial on how to take advantage of two of the powerful performance monitoring and debugging tools; SQL Monitoring and ASH Analytics.  SQL Monitoring allows you to see which SQL statements are running in the system and how they are currently performing as well as viewing dynamic execution plan information.  ASH Analytics allows you to drill down into ASH data and determine which users, applications and SQL statements are consuming resources in the system.  Specific emphasis is placed on how to determine heavy I/O consumers.
